The Master’s Program (M.Sc.) in Human Performance aims to advance knowledge, promote research, and train high-level scientists capable of contributing to both theoretical and applied areas in the fields of maximizing athletic performance and exercise for prevention and rehabilitation.

The Master’s Program (MSc) “Human Performance” undergoes continuous evaluation and improvement through the processes of the Quality Assurance Unit (MODIP) of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). MODIP AUTH is the official body responsible for ensuring and continuously upgrading the quality of study programs, aiming for academic excellence and the international competitiveness of the University.

FAQs

To apply for the M.Sc. in “Human Performance,” candidates must have:

✅ A Bachelor’s degree from a Greek Higher Education Institution (A.E.I. or A.T.E.I.) or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign institution.
✅ Certified proficiency in a foreign language at a minimum B2 level (English, French, or German).
✅ Recognition of their degree by the Hellenic National Academic Recognition and Information Center (D.O.A.T.A.P.), if obtained from a foreign institution.

📌 Applications are submitted electronically via email to the Secretariat of the M.Sc. program.
📌 Candidates must submit all required documents in a single PDF file before the deadline.
📌 Late applications or additional documents submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Student selection is based on a merit-based point system, which includes:

✔️ Bachelor’s degree grade
✔️ Thesis/dissertation work
✔️ Relevant professional experience in the field of the M.Sc. program
✔️ Scientific publications and conference presentations
✔️ Participation in research projects
✔️ Additional academic qualifications (Master’s or Ph.D. degrees)

📌 The total tuition fee is €2,700, payable in three installments of €900 per semester.
📌 Excellence scholarships are awarded to students with the highest grades in the first two semesters.
📌 Students with low income can apply for tuition fee exemption according to Law 4485/2017.

📌 The M.Sc. program has a duration of three (3) semesters of full-time study, including the completion of a Master’s thesis.
📌 Working students may apply for part-time study, extending the program up to six (6) semesters.
📌 A suspension of studies for up to two (2) semesters is also possible.

📌 Upon successful completion of all program requirements, students participate in the graduation ceremony.
📌 The diploma and the official transcript are available electronically through the platform students.auth.gr.
📌 Students who wish to receive their diploma on parchment may request it from the Secretariat of the M.Sc. program (a fee is required).
