Regulations on the Functioning of the Student Complaints & Appeals Management Mechanism

The Master’s Program (M.Sc.) in Human Performance at the School of Physical Education and Sport Science (TEFAA) in Thessaloniki has established a transparent and structured mechanism for managing complaints and appeals. The purpose of this regulation is to resolve issues related to the quality of educational and administrative services, ensuring a fair and functional learning environment for students.


📌 What Does the Complaints & Appeals Management Mechanism Cover?

The mechanism is available to active undergraduate and postgraduate students and addresses concerns such as:
✅ Disputes regarding academic matters & attendance
✅ Inappropriate behavior from academic or administrative staff
✅ Insufficient communication from faculty members or administrative personnel


📌 Complaints & Appeals Submission Procedure

📌 Step 1: Students should first familiarize themselves with their rights and responsibilities through the Study Guide and the official M.Sc. regulations.

📌 Step 2: For any issue, students must first contact their Academic Advisor, who provides guidance and support on study-related matters, assessment, and general academic concerns.

📌 Step 3: If the issue is not resolved through the Academic Advisor, the student may proceed to submit the Complaints & Appeals Submission Form:

  • Electronically via the Secretariat
  • In-person in printed form at the M.Sc. Secretariat

📌 Step 4: The Secretariat forwards the request to:

  • The Department Chair
  • The Coordinating Committees of the M.Sc. Programs
  • If necessary, the issue may be referred to the Department Assembly for a final decision

📌 Step 5: The student receives a response regarding the outcome of their request. If they are not satisfied with the proposed solution, they may submit a request for reconsideration to the Department Assembly.

📌 Step 6: The decision of the Department Assembly is final.


📌 Confidentiality & Anonymity

All procedures are conducted with full transparency, respect for personal data, and anonymity for students submitting complaints.
