- The independent supervised study may be experimental or retrospective.
- The student declares it as a course at the postgraduate program’s Secretariat.
- As supervising professor in the supervised study can be appointed a member of the teaching staff of TEFAA Thessaloniki [Professors (DEP), Teaching staff (EEP), Laboratory teaching staff (EDIP)].
- The study is prepared in collaboration with the supervisor, as specified in the relevant Graduate Studies Regulations.
- The subject of the supervised study should be relevant to the academic subjects of the student's respective direction. The independent study concerns deepening through systematic analysis and evaluation of research in a thematic area that falls within the core or direction courses.
- Its length cannot be less than 6,000 words (body of work without references).
